Who needs a Functional Capacity Assessment?
An FCA is beneficial for individuals who:
• Are applying for NDIS funding and need evidence of their disability’s impact on daily functioning
• Require an NDIS plan review to adjust supports due to changes in their condition
• Need justification for additional support services, including therapy, recovery coaching and support workers
• Have a psychosocial disability such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, personality disorders or severe anxiety/depression
