Who needs a Functional Capacity Assessment?
An FCA is beneficial for individuals who:
- Are applying for NDIS funding and need evidence of their disability’s impact on daily functioning
- Require an NDIS plan review to adjust supports due to changes in their condition
- Need justification for additional support services, including therapy, recovery coaching and support workers
- Have a psychosocial disability such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, personality disorders or severe anxiety/depression

Our experienced mental health professionals, including Credentialed Mental Health Nurses (CMHN) and Mental Health Registered Nurses, conduct thorough assessments covering:

- Mobility and Transport – ability to navigate public spaces and use transport independently

- Risk and Crisis Management – history of hospitalisations, self-harm or impulsivity
